ASUS To Launch The Asus Note EA800 in US Soon

ASUS plans to launch the Asus Note EA800 for less than $200 in the United States soon. The monochromatic eReader cum digital notepad that also packs a camera, music player, microUSB, and microSD slots does everything you can possibly do with a notepad and a whole lot more.

The Asus Note EA800 is the perfect solution for saving paper. Who needs wads of papers when you can save up to 20,000 notes – almost all the notes you could possibly write in 10 years – in one device? Notes may include diagrams (intricate engineering plots), charts, scribbles, doodles too because the stylus works just like a pencil. Varying pressure draws lines of varying thickness. The touch pen allows 2,540dpi (0.01mm) resolution with 256 levels of pressure. Press hard for thick lines and lightly for fine lines.

Not just that. You can even take a shot of the blackboard for later reference with the rear facing 2mp camera during a lecture. MicroUSB and microSD slots let you transfer your notes to your PC/laptop any time.

In your leisure, you can listen to MP3 songs via the inbuilt speakers or headphones, browse the web with the wireless 802.11 b/g LAN, and read eBooks. The device can store almost 10,000 digital books in its 4GB memory.

With a battery life of 13.5 hours and 10 days standby, this device is perfect for students and professionals who always have a pen in hand. So, who’s in?
