There probably hasn’t been a movie as keenly awaited or hyped as the The Dark Knight Rises till date, and with good reason.
Christopher Nolan, a director who had managed to bring out elements of an auteur’s vision even in an all-out action movie (based on a comic book hero, moreover) in 2008’s The Dark Knight, has been widely expected to do wonders with the conclusion to the gritty trilogy that he kicked off in 2005.
While July 20 may be looked forward to by practically everyone as the launch of the Nolan movie, Gameloft has also managed to chip in by announcing the launch of a Dark Knight Rises game for both Android and iOS. It had released a trailer a few days back that you can view below.
The graphics seem top notch for what should be a mobile/tablet game, and if Gameloft manages to live up to the standards of the absolutely phenomenal Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games made by Ubisoft (albeit for just consoles and computers), they have an absolute blockbuster in their hands.
The detailed open world environment in the game, along with the other major characters from the movie (Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and the hulking villain, Bane) should add to what should be thrilling experience for mobile gamers everywhere.
