Crux 360 case for the iPad

With the Apple iPad being the omnipresent companion of many people these days, companies are looking at designing accessories for iPad that increase its productivity and usability.

One such accessory is the Crux 360 case for the iPad, available for pre-order now.

The Crux 360 is a smug-fit case for iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard built into it, essentially turning your iPad into a netbook, while protecting it from scratches and low impact falls.

All one has to do is slip the iPad into the case and pair it with the keyboard, and start typing away! This is particularly useful for those who use their iPad for heavy typing such as sending emails, blogging or writing manuscripts.

The case can also be flipped back as a kick stand, so that when the iPad is kept on a table, it stands vertical instead of lying flat. Should it be required, the keyboard can be disabled and the iPad can be operated in the traditional way, but with a kick stand.

The Crux 360 weighs 1.8 pounds, making it easy to be carried to places. All features apart, the price tag of $149.99 for just a protective case and a Bluetooth keyboard can make it less appealing to people.
