Grippity is world’s first ever Android powered transparent tablet

The tablet has a transparent screen, which can be operated from both the front and rear side and it makes this tablet very user friendly to operate.  Jacob Eichbaum from Tel Aviv, is the genius behind this idea of transparent tablet Grippity.

Grippity seeking fund raise

The man on the back is seeking funding on this Kickstarter. Jacob Eichbaum is making efforts to raise $199,000 by 24th of January 2014, which will help him finish the challenging process of developing this transparent tablet, first of its kind.

Grippity enables you to keep your palms in a very natural way while playing games in your free time or surf the web with an ease of using all the fingers of both your hands for accurate touch inputs. As we mentioned earlier that the device will run on Android, so this will give the users another advantage of either developing their own apps or to download their favorite apps from Google’ Playstore.

Grippity: Spec Showdown

The Grippity tablet has a 7 inch semi transparent screen with 480 x 800 resolution. The 7” inch Grippity tablet has upper 25% of non transparent screen for thumb operations. Both rear and front screens are capacitive multi touch. Support for Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity is also on board. Grippity, the transparent android tablet is powered by a Cortex A8 ARM based processor with support of 512MB of RAM and will be having a 4GB internal memory with microSD card slot to expand the storage.  Tablet comes with an IR emitter to control your TVs and DVD’s as you would do with a regular remote controller. The transparent screen tablet run on Android 4.2, but it can be Kitkat 4.4 by then as specs are compatible with Android 4.4.
