New 7″ Chinese Tablet Has Been Designed for Gaming with Built-In Controls

Are you one of those tablet owners who loves gaming on your gadget, but hates touchscreen-only controls? A new tablet is available that may just wet your appetite for tablet gaming. It offers a 7″ display and controls built into the physical frame.

According to Tablets-Planet, The tablet is called S7100 and comes from Chinese firm JXD.

It appears that the games aren’t officially licensed for it, but run from emulators. However, the support is very large and varied for the device.

Tablets-Planet reports, “According to JXD their S7100 tablet will be able to play Apple games, Android games, Sony games, Nintendo games, Arcade games, and Sega games. I doubt JXD has managed to get official consent to offer games from each of those companies, but as of now you should expect to get games from each of those sources when you purchase a S7100 tablet.”

With such a widely varied support, who needs a Nintendo 3DS or a Playstation Vita? At a fraction of the cost you can play similar games on this Chinese tablet. Of course, expect to play older games and not brand new titles, since software is probably based on emulation.

Other specs include a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, 512MB RAM, and a 7″ capacitive touchscreen.

You can grab one of these bad boys, with dubious legality, from iShareGifts at a price of only $139.99.
