Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Gets Accessories

Samsung has released a number of accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, making the tab as multifarious as the iPad 2. The accessories are designed to improve users’ experience at home and on the road, while charging the tablet at the same time.

In docking solutions, Samsung offers a multimedia dock that holds Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in landscape mode and includes a 3.5mm stereo line out port, HDMI pass through to accommodate the HDMI adapter, and more. There’s a full-sized keyboard dock with one touch keys for accessing the web, email, music, etc.

Samsung is also offering a variety of protective cases for the Honeycomb tablet. You have a Bluetooth keyboard case (to ship later in the summer); book cover case to protect the tab’s front, back and sides, it can also be placed like a frame for easy viewing of video, etc.; and a leather pouch to protect the sleek tab from scratches.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 can be used with a set of adapters to extend its functions and capabilities. The HDMI cable adapter charges the Tab 10.1 and transmits 1080p video playback on to a large TV screen. The USB adapter allows you to connect the tab to keyboards, mice, memory sticks, and other USB peripherals.
That’s not all. More accessories are available to make the 10 inch Android tab more usable at home, in the car, and while travelling. And we’re expecting all the accessories to be fairly priced for competitive advantage.
