Sony’s on an ICS rollout spree. Barely a couple of weeks since it updated most of its Xperia range of smartphones to Android latest and greatest flavour – Ice Cream Sandwich, ICS or 4.0 (call it what you may), it’s brought over the party to its flagship Android tablet, the Sony Tablet S, as well.
The Sony Blog’s official changelog is as follows:

The most notable features provided through the ICS update are the enhanced browser, the direct access to the SD card, the panorama mode in the camera, and the native screenshot capturing ability.
The Sony Blog’s instructions for downloading the update are as follows:
“For those of you that are already Sony Tablet S owners, the next time you connect to Wi-Fi, your Sony Tablet S should prompt you to do a system update – just click OK to download, and in a few minutes you should be ready to go on Android 4.0.”
Sony will also be offering a rebate of $50 and a free cradle accessory to all purchases of the Sony Tablet S until the 12th of May, making the price of the 16GB variant $349, and that of the 32GB one exactly a hundred dollars more.
