Spotify has updated its official iOS app which introduces new features and improvements.
Improvements include a friendlier more welcoming start up screen for first time users on iPhone along with numerous user interface enhancements to bring the iPhone app closer to the functionality provided by the iPad app.
Now, users on the iPad can also more easily sort their playlists by track, album and artist. Also, iPad users can now search for friends and see what they have been listening to.
Up until now, advanced users with rather large extensive playlists, struggled to find the music that they wanted to listen to. So, these welcomed improvements will no doubt help get the desired music with less effort and searching.
The app is free but users will unfortunately need a premium subscription in order to take advantage of most of the new features.
