TiVo has released a new version of its DVR app for Android tablets. Back in January, it release a specific version to Android phones.
TiVo states “Now you can search, browse, explore and share comments about your favorite TV show or movie without interrupting what you’re already watching on your TiVo® DVR.”
A list of features include:
Guide – ability to find shows by channel, date and time
Search – find shows by title get results from TV and the web
Info – information about a show is retrieved in seconds with all relevant details
Info (Actor) – looking for a specific actor? Find shows that have your favorite actor and also view their entire career’s work
My Shows – see what shows you have queued up and sort by date and title in addition being able to monitor your recording capacity
Season Pass Manager – Prioritize and edit your Season Pass recordings with intuitive drag-and-drop functionality in Season Pass Manager
Remote – comes with two great TiVo remote control options – a classic TiVo remote replica or a gesture-based remote control
The TiVo app is also available for Android and iOS phones.
